Arizona,New Mexico Elk Hunts
Arizona, Nevada, Utah Deer Hunts
The majority of the Elk and Deer hunting in Arizona are on a draw system for both residents and non-residents alike. Drawing an Elk tag in Arizona is difficult but worth the wait when you do finally draw. Arizona has a bonus point system that when a hunter keeps their license (vs. turning it back in for a refund if not successful) they accrue a bonus point. I advise all my clients to not only apply but also keep this license to accrue the bonus point if they desire to hunt in Arizona. This is one state where keeping your license definitely pays off. Arizona has some of the finest hunting country for trophy potential species. The elk herds in Arizona are at an all time high and their elk management program is second to none.
(((Contact me if you need help applying for either elk or deer tags. If you have drawn an Elk tag in one of the following units 1, 3B, 3C, 4B, 8, 9,10, 23, 27 contact me as soon as possible as outfitters fill up quickly on a first come first serve basis.)))

Arizona Deer Hunt # 1
1. The Kaibab Plateau as well as the Arizona
Strip has long been known as two of the top areas in the country
to take a trophy mule deer. Unit's 13B and 12A offer the client
the best opportunity of harvesting a trophy deer. Camps are comfortable
wall tents, accessible by four wheel drive vehicles. These hunts
take place in late October and November. Spot and stalk is the hunting
method used. Hunters are encouraged to be in good physical condition.
Depending on type of species desired and tag drawn, Mule deer can
be in the 140 to 170+ B&C point category and some deer with
racks over 30 inches wide. Many Coues deer are over 100 B&C
points. (photo gallery)

New Mexico Elk Hunt # 1
1. The areas hunted in New Mexico are primitive weapons hunts including the first Muzzleloader hunt-taking place in the middle of October. Units 15A and 15B are excellent units to hunt if drawn. It is a post rut hunt with some rutting and bugling during the first couple of days. Camps are comfortable wall tents, accessible by four wheel drive vehicles. These hunts take place in late October and November. This hunt is a draw hunt but there are several landowner tags available at times if a client fails to draw. These landowner tags cost approximately $3,500. These tags are on a limited number basis. If you want a guaranteed hunt the outfitter can secure a landowner tag before the draw with a $3,500 deposit. If you are drawn this tag will be sold and you will not be charged for it. Hunt prices same as Arizona prices.
1. This hunt takes place in the central-eastern Nevada units 221,223,231,241. Camps are comfortable wall tents or motel accomidations, accessible by four wheel drive vehicles. These hunts take place in late October and November. Spot and stalk is the hunting method used. Hunters are encouraged to be in good physical condition. Mule deer can be in the 140 to 170+ B&C point category and some deer with racks over 30 inches wide. This hunt is a draw hunt but there are several landowner tags available at times if a client fails to draw with a cost of approximately $4,500. These tags are on a limited number basis. Archery season runs in late August and early September. Muzzle loader season runs during September. Contact me to apply using the outfitter draw deadline in Mid March. This greatly improves your odds of being drawn.
