Quebec Labrador Caribou and Black Bear Hunts

Hunt # 1

                     This is a fully guided 6-day hunt for the discriminating hunter.  This hunt offers the ultimate in services and success.  This guided hunt is tailored to reduce the element of chance to the maximum degree and provide the ultimate in services on a wilderness hunt.  You have the personal services of a top professional guide to assist you in the field as well as priority access to alternate locations in the event of a migration change. Average success rate for 12 years is over 90%.  This outfitter holds home of the # 2,3,4, B&C records and the # 1 P&Y record.  Jackie Bushman of Buckmaster went on this hunt recently and harvested Caribou with both gun and bow. Hunt # 2

                     The accommodations for this 6-day hunt will be from oil and/ or wood heated tent/cabins which feature electrical power, running water, hot showers as well as kitchen facilities with ample and varied food provided.  You will have access on site to boats and motors to assure mobility and accessibility to prime hunting areas.  According to the type of terrain an ATV is provided for your guide to assist in the transportation of your game back to camp.  This hunt is designed for the self-sufficient hunter willing to fully participate in all aspects of the chase under the expert supervision of the camp manager/guide.

Hunt # 3

                     This hunt includes all the above from hunt # 2 but alsoincludes the services of a full-time cook and guide services of one per 3 hunters.  These hunts require some participation from the hunters. The guide/manager is available to help the hunter both in the field and in camp. This hunt set up is the most popular filling both the needs of a guide and cook at an affordable rate. These selective caribou grounds are also ideal locations to hunt Ptarmigan and the occasional Black Bear.  They also offer the best fishing in the North.  Species include big Brook and Lake Trout.

Hunt # 4

                     The location for this 6-day trophy Black Bear hunt is in the Lake St. Jean Region of Central Quebec.  This outfitter has access to over 20,000 sq. miles of remote wilderness bear country allowing them to conduct mobile bear hunts over bait.  Mobility is the key to successful trophy bear hunts. Accommodations for this 6-day trophy hunt will be from guest cabins featuring wood stoves, running water, showers and a full time cook.  This outfitter typically averages 100% shooting opportunity. Actual success rate averages 95% on mature Black Bears.  Brook Trout fishing is also available during or after the hunt. (photo gallery)

                     The lodge hunt is located 450 miles north of Montreal. This area represents one of the last unspoiled hunting areas in Quebec, particularly for big bears. Under our licensing agreement for zone 29 we now control a hunting area in excess of 10,000 square miles. Access on the territory is by a network of extensive logging roads and by water to prime hunting areas.
This deluxe lodge located on a large lake provides very comfortable accommodations for up to 10 guests. Accommodations include private guestrooms with bedding provided, a large lounge area comprising of a dinning room where home-style meals are served. Indoor washrooms and showers, electrical power, cooler and freezer facilities for game storage are provided.

Northwest Territories Caribou Hunts

Hunt # 1

                    This outfitter specializes in Archery Mountain Caribou hunting. The Mackenzie Mountains are well known for producing some of the largest mountain caribou found anywhere. The 5000 square mile area in the heart of the Mackenzie Mountains not only has an extremely large, healthy population, it is also well known for producing Pope & Young caribou. For the ardent archery hunter looking for a Pope & Young Mountain Caribou to finish a caribou slam, there is no better location. The outfitter offers a special 10-day caribou hunt for both archery and rifle hunters. Caribou can also be hunted as an add-on animal on both Dall Sheep and Alaska/Yukon moose hunts. Included in this hunt are food, lodging, guides and opportunity to hunt wolf, wolverine and fish. As well as field preparation of trophies. Not included are 3% GST on hunt cost, Licenses, tags & royalties. Helicopter transportation to camp return - $3,000 per person and meat subject to space availability.

Newfoundland Moose, Caribou, and Bear Hunts

Hunt # 1

                    This hunt occurs in the Central and Western portion of Newfoundland in the Long Range Mountain region.  Accommodations for this 6 day hunt will be from log/wood structures featuring wood stoves, running water, showers and a full time cook preparing the best in home style meals.  This outfitter provides transportation to the various camps via helicopter.  The helicopter assures that the hunt schedules are kept under the difficult fall weather conditions and most importantly assures that your game will be taken out to a cooler quickly.  Newfoundland moose population is approximately 120,000 equating to approximately 5 animals per square mile.  

The Woodland Caribou along with the moose were introduced on the island of Newfoundland (some 42,000 sq. miles) in the early 1900’s.  With the absence of wolves the island hosts a healthy population of both species.  This outfitter controls 9 separate hunting camps allowing the flexibility to move hunters to the different locations based on game distribution at the time of the hunt. Hunts begin with your arrival to Stephenville, Newfoundland.  Costs not included with hunt are Non resident permits (see above for costs), gratuity, and meat processing and transportation to and from NL (15%).(photo gallery)
